Hosted UC provider Alteva announced Monday changes to its channel program centered around its new UC sales certification.
Altevas UC Sales Certification program includes a technical overview of UC, how to sell and position UC and impact/reinforcement training led by the Sandler Institute, a provider of sales and sales management training.
Partners who have successfully completed the training will earn the highest commission percentages and be designated Alteva UC Certified Partners. Three additional partner tiers include:
Regardless of level, each partner is assigned a dedicated UC Sales Certified channel manager to assist partners in serving customers from sales through implementation and training if needed.
Additional tools and resources are available through Altevas partner portal, where partners can access Alteva marketing document templates that include fields intended to input their own contact information before providing the documents to prospects.
Partners who have completed Level 1 of the Alteva UC Sales Certification will receive log-in credentials to the associated SharePoint community site, where partners can access program documents, share ideas and access other valuable information. They also receive the Alteva Marketing Toolbox, which provides marketing email templates, follow up call scripts, useful links and more.
Finally, Alteva will hold quarterly educational webinars to provide deep dive product knowledge, sales positioning, messaging and answers to questions related to the hottest industry topics. It also holds regional cocktail networking events to provide a platform to share new developments and sales tools.
Altevas hosted VoIP services are integrated with Microsoft Communication Services, including Exchange, Office Communications Server (OCS) and SharePoint.
