Integra Telecom Inc. said this week it has installed a point-of-presence (PoP) within the Phoenix NAP data center and network access facility.
That means business customers of Integras agent partners now have access to more interconnection, colocation and emergency back-up services. Phoenix NAP customers, too, get to buy Integras Internet and networking services, including MPLS VPN and private line networks.
The range of services Integra can provide are well-suited to meet the networking and data transmission needs todays businesses face, and we are thrilled to have them operate a PoP out of our facility,” said Ian McClarty, president of Phoenix NAP.
For Integras part, choosing Phoenix was a no-brainer.
Phoenixs stable climate and low risk for natural disasters make it an ideal location for data centers,” Steve Zimba, Integras chief marketing officer, said in a statement.
Integras fiber-optic network reaches businesses in the major metropolitan areas of 11 western states. Phoenix NAP maintains a carrier-neutral stance so its customers may select the providers that work best for them.
