Chicago-based virtual network operator Nitel Inc., announced Wednesday a new partnership with Atlanta-based master agent MicroCorp Inc. wherein MicroCorp agents will be able to sell Nitels nationwide MPLS, Ethernet, dedicated Internet and private line products.
As a VNO, Nitel uses proprietary tools to accelerate procurement, installation and maintenance across the networks of more than 100 carriers nationwide, including rural or difficult-to-reach areas. Uniquely, Nitel offers flat rates, which often can result in cost savings for customers.
Nitel provides MicroCorp agents and VARs with a wide variety of nationwide connectivity services that can reach markets that are traditionally very difficult to service,” said Brad Miehl, MicroCorp President and CEO. As a result, MicroCorp is able to offer solutions that our channel and customers demand regardless of a customers geographic location.”
MicroCorp is one of the countrys leading master agencies with more than 1,500 professional agents and VARs as part of its subagent network. MicroCorp maintains carrier agreements with over 35 vendors and supports its business via an internally developed web based application called Nautilus. MicroCorp also adds additional value to its agents and their end customers by providing Insite, which is an integrated module of Nautilus that allows end customer to login and manage all their carrier services and equipment assets in a collaborative environment.
Nitels partner program also offers technical and back-office resources focused on helping partners drive their opportunities, while also providing training and tools.
