The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is coming soon to Verizon Wireless.
The nations largest wireless provider announced that the sleek tablet will be available for online pre-orders through this portal on June 8 and will hit its stores this summer.
Available in either Metallica Gray or Glossy White, the tablet will run on Verizons fourth-generation (4G) LTE network and features optional accessories such as a full-sized keyboard dock and a multimedia docking station. Customers also can use the tablet on the operator’s 3G network.
With two-year customer agreements, Verizon Wireless is selling two models for the following prices: $529.99 for the 16GB model; and $629.99 for the 32GB model.
Featuring the Android Honeycomb operating system, the tablet supports Google Mobile Services, including Gmail and YouTube. The Samsung Galaxy Tab also is equipped with a 10.1-inch enhanced display with a 1280×800 resolution HD screen, 1 GHz dual core application processor, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and a 3-megapixel rear-facing camera. In addition, the tablet includes Adobe Flash Player to improve the Web browsing experience
Consumers and businesses can use the tablet for a variety of uses ranging from video chat to business tools that allow for the opening and editing of documents, spreadsheets and presentations, Verizon Wireless said.
