James F. Hensel has been named CEO of Pac-West Telecomm, Inc, a provider of wholesale communications infrastructure services.
Hensel has worked with the communications provider for nearly five years as a member of its board of directors and has served as senior vice president of Columbia Ventures Corporation, Pac-Wests parent company, since 2005.
Pac-West has evolved into a new kind of carrier, bringing exciting on-demand cloud telecom services with the Telastic product line to an already impressive lineup of traditional carrier offerings,” Hensel said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to building on that growth and innovation to realize the tremendous potential in front of us.”
Hensel is stepping in for Robert H. Turner, who has served as Pac-Wests CEO for about three years and is leaving the company immediately, said Pac-Wests Peter Gaylord, vice president of marketing and product management.
Hensel holds a BA in economics from Harvard University and a JD from Willamette University College of Law.
