CTI Group this week released Proteus 7, the latest version of its hosted or premise-based call-accounting platform for mobile, VoIP and PBX phone systems.
CTI Group specializes in VoIP-management applications, call-recording software and electronic invoice processing and management; the Indiana-based company sells to and through channel partners.
Proteus 7 supports more Web browsers including Internet Explore, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Apple Safari and eliminated the tools dependence on older versions of ActiveX and Java. Users also can customize the screen layout for better data presentation. CTI Group further changed its reporting engine to provide unlimited concurrent user access. And there are a number of new data sets to help accounting departments, and improved auditing capabilities for IT managers tracking changes made to Proteus.
Following extensive customer research, we found that a broad mix of employees were using Proteus for numerous business processes including cost analysis, customer billing, fraud detection and network optimization,” said Trevor Davis, senior product manager for CTI Group.
