TBI Wireless will have dedicated management, sales and back-office staff to enable TBI partners to sell mobility to their customers.
To properly build a wireless business we need expertise and focus. With the formation of our new division, TBI can layer wireless into our partner base to fortify our core wireline foundation,” said Mike Saxby, chief strategy officer. Any new opportunity requires commitment and there is enormous potential in wireless. TBI and its partners are now well positioned to sell and support wireless.”
TBI hired Geoff Yearack, former president of Voda Communications, as director of Wireless & Mobility. Yearack will build and manage the wireless division. His responsibilities will include staff development, wireless marketing, training and enabling TBIs partners with tools not seen in the channel before.
It makes perfect sense for TBI and [me] to join forces,” says Yearack. I look forward to the opportunity to take my wireless knowledge and bring it into a best-of-class master agency like TBI. We are setting the stage to show our partners that wireless can easily become part of their portfolio and enhance the customer experience and revenue stream.”
TBI Wireless will offer national carriers with a nationwide sales footprint and include phones, hotspots, tablets and more. TBI Wireless will include quoting capabilities, dedicated wireless pre- and post-sales support, customer support, OEM solutions and accessories bundling.
