Video has been part of our comprehensive collaboration solution since 2001 but only now, almost nine years later, are we experiencing real customer demand for widespread access to personal telepresence,” said Olivier de Puymorin, founder and CEO of Arkadin. For this reason, we are extending our video capability by partnering with Vidyo to complement our existing voice and web offerings. This will enable our customers productivity by allowing them to work from anywhere with natural and smooth video and audio interactions taking another critical step towards unified communications.”
More than 3 million people each month use Arkadin Audio and Web Conferencing to meet remotely. Arkadin is part of a new collaborative workflow that drives efficiency and productivity by eliminating the constraints of location.
Having used a static, room-based video conferencing system for several years, it was easy to see the value of the Arkadin-Vidyo offer,” said Gill Grevet, senior director of Mega International, an Arkadin customer. As our teams experience how easy it is to use and how it enhances the collaborative experience, user adoption within the company has dramatically risen.”
