Motorola Mobilitys ATRIX 4G smartphone is now available through AT&T and a number of big-box U.S. retailers.
AT&T is selling the device for $199 with a two-year customer agreement or for $499 without a contract.
Motorola claims the device is the only smartphone that allows you to carry the power and performance of mobile computing inside your pocket.”
The ATRIX features a 1 GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB of RAM and 48 GB of memory including 16 GB on board and an optional 32 GB microSD card. With an AT&T U-Verse mobile application, AT&T U-verse subscribers can browse a library of shows for streaming to their device and remotely schedule recordings on their DVRs at home.
Amazon, Radio Shack and Wal-Mart also are selling the ATRIX. Wal-Mart is offering the device for $129.99 for customers who activate an account before Thursday, Engadget reported.
