MegaPath Inc. has officially announced Chris Gellos as the new head of its channel program.
Gellos has been serving in the role Dan Foster vacated earlier this month but the bona fide confirmation from MegaPath came on Tuesday. Gellos now is senior vice president of sales. He came to MegaPath via the Speakeasy acquisition last year. At Speakeasy, Gellos worked as vice president of sales.
As we prepare to launch our new channel partner program, Chris vision on the direction of the sales organization will prove to be valuable as we mark another company milestone,” Bruce Chatterley, MegaPaths president of business markets, said in a prepared statement.
MegaPath will debut its converged partner program featuring channels from MegaPath, Speakeasy and Covad at the Spring 2011 Channel Partners Conference & Expo. Thanks to that three-pronged deal, MegaPath now bills itself as a managed services LEC offering data, voice and security services throughout North America. The company boasts more than 4,500 referral and master-agent partners.
