Copper Conferencing Names New Channel Manager

Conferencing provider Copper Conferencing has hired a new channel manager as the company works to increase agent-fueled revenue.

This week, Denver-based Copper said it has hired longtime employee Jace Harris as its newest channel account manager. Harris comes from the companys customer care department where he most recently served in a managerial role.

“I’m thrilled Jace is now a member of Copper’s channel team,” said Darren Suders, director of channel sales. “Our channel partner program has expanded significantly in the past year and we expect the growth to continue. Expanding our team now gives Copper the ability to provide even greater partner and customer support.”

The news comes just a few months after Copper unveiled its e-marketing tool, Copper Link Pro, to its agents. The company touts Copper Link Pro as a way to promote all products and services they sell, not just Coppers audio and Web conferencing. Copper Link Pro lets partners build marketing campaigns, customize landing pages, and more, Copper said.

Users can integrate with different e-mail providers such as StreamSend or MailChimp and the landing pages may be customized to send information directly to the user’s CRM,” said Alycia Maier-Turner, director of marketing for Copper Conferencing.

Copper Link Pro is free to Copper partners.
