Unified communications provider Apptix says its hosted Microsoft Exchange customer numbers have surpassed 300,000 subscribers.
The publicly held company said this week its user base has grown by more than 50 percent since 2009, thanks in large part to adoption by mid-size businesses and enterprises. David Ehrhardt, president and CEO of Apptix, said those companies are drawn to Apptix for its technical infrastructure, range of services offered and high levels of customer support.
Businesses of all sizes from single seat SOHOs to multi-thousand employee clients have consistently recognized that Apptix provides the enterprise-class services and reliability they need and demand, Ehrhardt said in a prepared statement.
Apptix, based in Herndon, Va., offers hosted services including unified communications, e-mail, voice, collaboration and Web conferencing. Apptix further has a range of channel programs. Agents earn commissions on any Apttix product from referral clients, through a two-tier system; resellers receive managed retail billing tools, wholesale pricing and billing for bundled reseller offerings, as there are white-label programs; and private-label partners can extend their own services menu with customized, hosted Apptix solutions, sold under their own brands.
