To do that, the companies have combined their UC tools Siperas UC-Sec appliances and ZOOMs Quality Management Suite software to, for example, record encrypted calls. ZOOMs platform includes recording, screen capture, live monitoring, speech analytics and other resources. Thus, by putting the Sipera and ZOOM technologies together, contact centers can eliminate any security-related finger pointing” among employees, said Brian Shore, ZOOMs North America president.
Recording encrypted calls has been an industry dilemma for some time,” Shore said in a prepared statement. To eliminate this challenge, ZOOM is very proud to partner with Sipera to provide a tested reference architecture.”
UC allows for affordable and collaborative communications, added Andy Asava, Siperas vice president of business development. But UC also creates some security and privacy challenges for contact centers. However, Asava explained, by working with ZOOM, Sipera can jointly deliver comprehensive, enterprise-class security for contact centers’ UC networks and applications, and enable compliance with HIPAA and other government and industry mandates regarding control, archiving and privacy of information.”
Sipera and ZOOM didnt disclose the financial terms of their partnership. Both companies distribute through reseller partners.
