NextStep will offer Samsungs OfficeServ series communications systems, Ubigate gateways, switches, routers and SIP phones to local exchange carriers in North America.
The agreement with Samsung aligns NextStep with a powerful brand and better positions us and our customers to capitalize on the expected widespread migration of businesses from legacy phone systems into VoIP solutions,” said David Lyons, CEO of NextStep Technology Solutions.
Samsung BCS is the first vendor to sign on with NextStep Technology Solutions, which very recently opened its doors. In addition to Lyons, the company is being led by Franklin Kisberg as COO and Phillip Sherman, president, all of whom have extensive experience in the telecom space. The company plans to utilize that experience to be a one-stop solution for carriers and business customers for design and engineering solutions, CPE and service, support and training, especially in the areas of VoIP solutions and network-based hosted communications services.
We are excited about the agreement with NextStep Technology Solutions and look forward to working with its team of respected industry veterans,” said Doug Wonson, vice president and general manager at Samsung BCS in a release. The agreement will broaden the reach of Samsung OfficeServ and Ubigate solutions and help Samsung gain greater visibility in the carrier and small-business markets.”
