AT&T Unveils Motorola Bravo, Flipside

Its a big week for new Android phones. The Motorola Droid Pro is available for pre-order tomorrow on Verizon, while a pair of slightly less sophisticated Motorola smartphones just went on sale yesterday at AT&T stores.

The Bravo will cost you $129.99 with a new, two-year service agreement. Key features include:

  • Android 2.1
  • 800MHz processor
  • 3.7-inch touchscreen
  • 3-megapixel camera
  • GPS
  • FM radio

The Flipside costs a little less than the Bravo just $99.99 with a contract, likely due to its slower processor and smaller display. Its features include:

  • Android 2.1
  • 700MHz processor
  • sliding QWERTY keyboard
  • 3.1-inch touchscreen
  • 3-megapixel camera
  • FM radio
  • GPS
  • Wi-Fi

The device world is clearly getting much more crowded as the holiday season nears, with Android leading the pack in number of smartphones being offered. The Android OS outsold both BlackBerry and iOS in the most recent quarter.
