Samsung Ready To Take Blinders Off Solstice II on AT&T

AT&T will start selling the Samsung Solstice II, a new quick-messaging device, this Sunday, Nov. 7. Its aimed at the avid social networker in the family, but offers a number of other features for what seems to be a pretty reasonable price of $29.99.

The Solstice II is a follow-up to the original Solstice, which was released more than a year ago. The Solstice II has a 3-inch touchscreen and features what Samsung calls its unique TouchWiz 2.0 user interface, which offers one-touch access to frequently used applications and social networks. The Solstice II comes with a 2.0 megapixel camera, AT&T Social Net, AT&T Navigator for turn-by-turn directions, AT&T Music and Radio and mobile e-mail and more.
