Big-box retailer Target is following up its Apple iPad debut by offering two iPhone models just in time for the holidays.
The company will start selling the iPhone 3G S and iPhone 4 in 846 of its stores as of Sunday, Nov. 7.
Customers who buy the iPhone at Target will be able to active their devices in the store.
Our guests will be able to leave the store with a new, working iPhone 3G S or iPhone 4 in-hand,” said Mark Schindele, Targets senior vice president of merchandising.
Target also will let customers trade in their old cell phones, MP3 players, video games and other electronics for credit toward purchases.
