Verizon Ready To Roll Out New Samsung, Motorola Handsets Report

A new Internet report indicates that the Samsung Continuum, the Samsung Zeal and the Motorola Citrus will all be made available on the Verizon Wireless network in less than two weeks.

PhoneArena touts a report from one of its tipsters who says that all three phones will go on sale Nov. 11, which promises to be a big day for mobile devices. Its also anticipated that the Droid 2 Global, the Droid Pro and the Palm Pre 2 will go on sale at Verizon that day. If phones arent your thing, Verizon has already said it will start selling the Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet computer on Nov. 11.

The Motorola Citrus features Android 2.1 not the most up-to-date version of Googles operating system. It has a 3-inch display, a 3-megapixel camera, a 2GB microSD card and Wi-Fi. Its considered an entry-level smartphone. The Samsung Continuum is a couple of steps up from the Moto Citrus. It does run on Android 2.2, has a 3.4-inch display with Samsungs Super AMOLED technology. You also get a 5-megapixel camera with 720p video recording, 2GB internal memory and an 8GB microSD card. The Samsung Zeal isnt a smartphone, but features a QWERRTY keyboard, a 2.6-inch display and a 2-megapixel camera. It appears to be very similar to the existing Samsung Alias 2.

There are no prices to reveal yet, but we should be getting an official announcement from Verizon Wireless soon.
