RADVISION Goes Eye-to-Eye with Partners

RADVISION has launched its first formal global channel program for its partner network of resellers, distributors and VARs.

The Eye-to-Eye Partner Program encompasses all of RADVISIONs visual communications technologies, including its SCOPIA line of videoconferencing equipment. The program is a formalization of the companys earlier, unofficial efforts at channel programs in different regions around the world, and is the result of the companys recent efforts to expand its videoconferencing technologies beyond group conferencing to include telepresence and desktop communications and mobile conferencing solutions, said Israel Greenspan, director of Global Channel Programs at RADVISION.

In the past, we had multiple partner programs that were launched regionally in the different territories, but this is the first time were coming out with something globally,” he said. We have a wide variety of channel partners with different sizes and focus  some are smaller, more videoconferencing-centric selling the RADVISION video conferencing portfolio only; others, larger and global ones, may be holding other vendors solutions as well.” The Eye-to-Eye program caters to them all, Greenspan said.

Benefits of the program are similar to other channel programs, with partners having access to discounts on demo equipment and financial incentives based on sales. But perhaps the most important element of the new program is its focus on education.

The program enables partners to easily acquire the required product expertise to become a trusted video conferencing advisor to their customers,” Greenspan said, including mandatory certifications to ensure partners have the competency and expertise to sell and support RADVISIONs technology.

The program also provides extensive support and a close business relationship with RADVISION. Partners will have a direct contact team within the company, Greenspan said, offering support through marketing, sales and technical services expertise.
