Samsung, Broadvox Announce Interoperability

Samsung Business Communication Systems and Broadvox have announced that Samsungs OfficeServ 7000 Series telecommunications platforms are now interoperable with Broadvoxs GO! SIP Trunking services.

The combination of the two technologies enables greater flexibility, enabling users to add on other SIP-based communications technologies such video and unified communications. Users also can reduce their communications costs by 25 to 60 percent by using SIP-enabled systems, according to the companies.

Through our strategic alliance with Broadvox, we are continually looking to foster acceptance for, and build awareness of, the benefits of SIP trunking services for SMBs,” said Doug Wonson, vice president and general manager at Samsung BCS. This certification provides our dealers another tool for confidently demonstrating the seamless application of Broadvox SIP Trunking services with Samsung OfficeServ systems.”

The certification process is performed under rigorous conditions encompassing key elements of interoperability to ensure real world” system operation, the companies noted, and the core SIP curriculum testing comprises more than 60 separate elements involving key aspects of call processing, both inbound and outbound.
