Grandstream has extended its line of enterprise SIP phones with a new desktop system that includes high-definition audio and integrated Web applications.
The GXP2110, the latest in Grandstreams GXP series, comes standard with an HD handset and full-duplex speakerphone, as well as a number of integrated Web applications such as real-time local weather, stock, currency and RSS news. It also includes dual network ports with integrated Power over Ethernet, five-way conferencing ability and as support for highly flexible XML customization and strong security protection.
Grandstream will continue to integrate more advanced Web applications to the GXP2110 via free firmware upgrades, the company noted, and an open Web service API will also be provided for advanced custom enterprise/Web application development.
The GXP2110 is currently available at a list price of $139. Additional models to the GXP line are slated to be released by the end of this year, according to the company.
