CHANNEL PARTNERS TelePacific Communications (Booth #3007), a CLEC serving California and Nevada, announced at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo TelePacific Mobile, which is available for sale by TelePacifics Telepartners.
Current TelePacific customers are now able to easily add mobile service to their TelePacific account, with one point of contact and one bill for all of their voice, wireless and data services. The first offerings are data cards and MiFi hotspots.
The MiFi hotspots allow high-speed, 3G wireless access anywhere users can get cellular service. Up to five devices can be connected to a hotspot, so users can create a mini-office at a job site or conference room. Novatel MiFi 2200 Hotspot, which connects to up to five Wi-Fi enabled devices within a 30-foot range, has built-in security and is smaller than a deck of cards.
There are two data card options, both offering simple installation and fast data download/upload speeds. The Novatel MC760 USB includes optional removable memory storage, simple installation and simultaneous data upload and download with no interruptions. The Sierra Wireless AirCard 402, with a 2-in-1 design that fits both PC Card and ExpressCard slots, is Windows 7 Mobile Broadband capable and offers automatic installation.
Later this fall, TelePacific will also launch voice products, including BlackBerry devices. It will also introduce wireless failover to ensure access to mission-critical applications if a wireline network fails.
