AccessLine Hosted Voice Now Available over New Edges MPLS Network

CHANNEL PARTNERS New Edge Networks (Booth #4024), the managed services business communications unit of EarthLink Inc., announced at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo that AccessLine hosted telecom voice services are now directly connected to the New Edge AX ecosystem of business applications. AccessLine is the hosted VoIP brand of Telanetix, a communications solutions provider offering VoIP services to all business market segments.

With a dedicated interconnection to New Edge AX, AccessLine services from Telanetix can now incorporate the Quality of Service (QoS) inherent on the New Edge backbone and Class of Service (CoS) traffic prioritization that New Edge offers to MPLS customers. New Edge says the benefits to Telanetix customers also include great value and demanding standards on award-winning service and quality. Leveraging the nationwide New Edge network, Telanetixs hosted applications can be delivered to end-users whether located at company offices, using a corporate VPN or working from home or a client site.

The Telanetix approach is to provide hardware-based solutions with software applications delivered as a service over a hosted global network.

We are pleased to join the New Edge AX Ecosystem of Business Applications,” said Doug Johnson, CEO of Telanetix. Under our AccessLine brand, we are expanding rapidly in the VoIP hosted services market and we believe this partnership will be good for both New Edge customers and our own.”

AccessLine has been doing business with New Edge on a wholesale network basis for some time now and we are extremely pleased to evolve that relationship to a New Edge AX Partner,” commented New Edge President Card Prinzi.  AccessLine is one of the most well-established names in the VoIP industry, with a unique distribution model that spans small businesses through big box retailers. With this agreement in place, we look forward to cross-marketing our services to bring more robust solutions to our partners and customers.”
