Field Solutions, an independent field service technician outsourcer, has received $1.5 million in its first round of investor funding. StarTec Investments led the investment group, whose members also include Invest Northwest LP, L&C Private Equity II LP and VKO Investors Inc. Joy Lindsay, StarTecs president, will join Field Solutions board of directors.
The funding will enable Field Solutions to invest in its online self-service management systems, as well as its customer-facing support and account management staff, the company said in a press release announcing the investment.
The company also noted its business has grown more than threefold over the past two years, and a number of large OEMs and service organizations have made the company their preferred field services supplier.
Were delighted by the confidence our investors have shown in Field Solutions,” said Mac Lewis, founder and CEO of Field Solutions. After in-depth review of Field Solutions operations and potential, these new investors recognize the underlying value proposition and the business development progress weve made in delivering an innovative, high-quality, and cost-effective solution for field service staffing.”
