Small IT VARs are not only interested in VoIP, but nearly 80 percent said they had already sold one or more VoIP solutions, according to a survey of IT VARs by SMB Nation published Wednesday.
The largest group (37.8 percent) said they had sold VoIP to one to five clients, so they are just getting their feet wet. But none of those polled said they were not interested in VoIP. And, more than 21 percent said they were interested though they had not sold VoIP yet.
SMB Nation is a publishing and events company targeted at the small and medium business technology consultant and reseller community.
Harry Brelsford, publisher, said he was encouraged by the results in that it showed VARs were not afraid to try new things.
SMB Nation is planning to reprise its VoIP Workshop for IT solutions providers in conjunction with the Channel Partners Conference & Expo, Sept. 20-22, 2010, in Washington D.C.
