Virtual network operator American Broadband Inc. (ABi) announced Tuesday that it has selected Duane Mullins as national agent manager for the launch of its indirect channel sales and marketing program for its high-capacity managed network solutions.
Mullins comes to ABi from TelePacific Communications, where he was Top Channel Manager for 2009. He also served as a senior sales engineer for the CLEC.
Duane is a rare individual with advanced technical skills and abilities as well as having a track record as a proven performer within direct and channel sales, said Justin Chris-Tensen, who recently was named senior vice president of sales and marketing for ABi. The former TelePacific channel chief is charged with developing ABis indirect sales channel.
ABis President and CEO, Thomas K. Grundman, said while ABi currently serves large enterprise and wholesale customers, it also recognizes the value of developing an agent channel, particularly in support of its goal to also target small and medium businesses. No presence is complete without the vital support of the agent community, and we intend to be the most channel friendly channel in the industry, he said.
Founded in 2001, ABi provides services in partnership with strategic partners and incumbent service providers such as ILECs, CLECs, cablecos, mobile and satellite operators and other utility providers.
