CLEAR Brings 4G to Kansas City

Clearwire Communications has expanded sales operations for CLEAR’s super fast mobile Internet service throughout Kansas City. The company also named John O’Donnellas general manager for the area.

CLEAR covers 670 square miles and more than 1.1 million people in areas extending as far north as the Kansas City International Airport, south to Belton, west to the Kansas Speedway, and east to Blue Springs.
For a limited time, Kansas City-area customers can log on to www.clear.com/kansas-city for CLEAR’s online-only mobile Internet promotion with plans starting at $15 per month for the first two months after a $50 service credit.

“CLEAR is thrilled to bring to Kansas City residents, businesses and visitors a super fast Internet experience similar to what they’re used to having at home or the office, anywhere around town or on the go,” said John O’Donnell, CLEAR general manager for Kansas City. “We’re pleased to bring a valuable new category of Internet service designed to make people’s lives more enjoyable and more productive with our service launch in Kansas City.”

Also today, Clearwire announced the launch of service in central Washington D.C. and the expansion of its 4G network in Baltimore.
