Hosted unified communications service provider CallTower Inc. announced a partnership with conferencing services provider InterCall to create a solution combining UC and audio conferencing. Under the agreement, both companies will offer the new solution will make it available through their respective indirect sales channels.
CallTower has integrated InterCall’s offering into its hosted UC suite, according to a spokesperson. The audio is sold on a per-minute basis, and is bundled into the hosted UC seat price. The customer can prepay for more minutes or be billed for overage.
CallTower’s indirect sales agents can sell the combined service.
InterCall will bundle CallTower’s solution with its audio conferencing along with custom options. Under the agreement, InterCall agents also will be able to sell the combined solution, but the spokesperson said the rollout schedule has not been set.
CallTower’s offer includes central hosting and the management of Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office Communicator R2, Microsoft SharePoint, Blackberry Enterprise Server and Advanced Messaging Integration.
