Toshiba America Information Systems Inc (Toshiba) and Apparent Networks have teamed to make Apparent Networks’ PathView network performance management product available to users of Toshiba’s Strata CIX IP business communications systems.
PathView, now available through Toshiba’s authorized dealer network, enables Strata CIX users to monitor and manage deployments of their unified communications solutions. PathView monitors the performance of end-to-end network paths, including segments that pass through third-party networks such as carrier WANs and service provider clouds. This source-to-destination visibility enables network teams to ensure the reliability of latency-sensitive applications such as VoIP, IP video and unified communications across distributed environments.
Under the terms of the agreement between Toshiba and PathView, Toshiba dealers will offer PathView in conjunction with Toshiba unified communication solutions. Authorized Toshiba dealers can also install PathView at customer sites to assess their networks’ readiness for unified communication solutions as well as monitor and troubleshoot the performance and availability of the networks once deployed.
