New Edge Networks (Booth #1421) announced at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo that it is working with telecommunications industry and sales expert Marty Clarke to roll out New Edge Radio, a sales and leadership podcast recorded and distributed weekly to New Edge agents, subagents and partners.
New Edge Radio will consist of a series of sales and leadership tips, each less than five minutes in length. According to Clarke, the New Edge Radio programs will include material that any sales or sales leadership professional can listen to in the morning and put to use that same afternoon.
“The New Edge Radio podcasts are meant to be fast, fun, and above all, immediately relevant,” said Clarke. “The cardinal rule of each podcast is – keep the content very short on theory, and very long on practical application.”
Clarke has written three books, including “Communication Land Mines: 18 Communication Catastrophes and How to Avoid Them,” and is a professional public speaker, sales coach and consultant. “Communications Land Mines” is a direct result of his years of experience on both sides of the decision-maker’s desk, including extensive experience in sales and sales management at MCI in the 1990s.
“Agents have asked for more sales training from their carrier partners and we view this new sales tool as an investment into that channel. New Edge Radio will provide practical sales training that is applicable to anyone in sales,” said New Edge Networks President Cardi Prinzi. “Marty Clarke will make a perfect host for New Edge Radio.
