Cavalier (Booth #1530) announced at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo that it has hired industry veteran Michael Gough as vice president of channel partner sales. Gough brings to Cavalier more than 20 years of telecommunications sales leadership experience. The company’s 2010 Channel Partner Program is designed to further advance the growing sales channel and strengthen relationships with partners.
“The Channel Partner Program is a key part of our strategy in 2010 to expand our depth and breadth of service offerings, and we are pleased to have Michael leading this effort,” said Danny Bottoms, president and CEO of Cavalier. “Michael has the experience and commitment to take our current program to the next level with a committed group of partners.”
The 2010 Agent Program centers on integrity, commitment and reward. It sets expectations and priorities for existing partners and presents opportunities for select new partners. The program provides incentives for meeting defined goals and metrics and includes an updated communications strategy and support structure to enable success for partners and Cavalier.
Gough’s career encompasses a solid track record of developing and growing highly productive channel partner programs at the national and regional levels. His background includes leading direct and indirect sales channels with a focus on selling hardware, software, VoIP and related network services.
