ACT Conferencing Names Channel Sales Head

ACT Conferencing, a global provider of audio, Web and video conferencing services, has appointed Paul Vick to director of channel sales covering the Americas and Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

“ACT already has a well-established channel partner program that consistently delivers big returns for the company and its partners,” said Vick. “The challenge for me is to identify ways to better the program and expand ACT’s reach into new markets.”

Vick carries with him more than 25 years of international technology sales and marketing experience spanning software, IT security and telecommunications sectors. Prior to joining ACT, Vick was the vice president of channel sales for Perimeter eSecurity where he established a multi-tier channel program and forged significant distribution partnerships.

Before that, Vick served as vice president of global sales for AEP Networks, which creates policy-based security products. While there, Vick grew worldwide sales by 175 percent, expanded global relationships with major distributors and managed partner relationships spanning more than 20 countries. Vick has also held managerial channel sales roles with Fiberlink Communications, Lucent Technologies and spent the first 14 years of his career in technology sales.

“Paul is already a major asset to our channel sales team based on his years of experience in the international market as well as his time in the field spent understanding the elements and strategies of winning channel programs,” said David Gladding, senior director of global sales, ACT Conferencing. “He will be a valuable contributor in helping ACT partners achieve their own business and revenue goals.”
