The agreement enables TBI to augment its portfolio of telecom products to include Nitel’s suite of private-line, dedicated Internet access, MPLS and Ethernet products. In particular, TBI sales agents will be able to leverage Nitel OneRate, providing flat-rate T1 private line, dedicated Internet access and MPLS services across the country.
“TBI is proud to serve as an advocate for Nitel’s data connectivity services,” said Geoffrey Shepstone, president of TBI. “Our goal is to provide value to our clients by representing the best telecom solutions in the marketplace. We believe leveraging Nitel’s services will increase our success rate with products like Ethernet and MPLS, while also giving us a leg up in Tier 2, tier 3 and rural markets.”
Rick Stern, CEO of Nitel added, “We are thrilled to add a class organization like TBI to our Premier Partner program. Master agents are an important link in the telecom supply chain and TBI is among the best. They provide tremendous value to their clients through their professional sales and support staff.”
TBI is one of the nation’s largest master agencies, representing more than 60 providers.
Nitel leverages its proprietary intelligence tool, n-Tellisource, and the networks of 100 carriers.
