MobileAccess, a provider of enterprise wireless solutions, has announced a series of initiatives to further the success of its VAR strategy for delivering its distributed antenna system (DAS) solutions to the growing in-building wireless market. MobileAccess has launched the VAR Advisory Council, MobileAccess Online University and a new set of sales tools VARs can use to sell and manage a complete solution set around the MobileAccess 1000, 2000 and VE product lines.
The MobileAccess partner program currently includes 23 VARs and a host of system integrators, OEMs and wireless consultants.

The VAR council offers an annual forum to discuss market requirements, MobileAccess roadmaps and go-to-market strategy. Council members benefit from annual surveys to gather critical feedback, quarterly newsletters, product Webinars, sales tools and regular account planning with channel directors.
The VAR-branded, customizable Partner Portal delivers access to MobileAccess’ collection of online world-class sales tools, such as marketing collateral, case studies, sales presentations, training documents and multimedia tools to enable VARs to better represent MobileAccess products and services. Additionally, the portal will soon include the latest version of MobileAccess’ Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) solution, a quotation tool that includes a complete set of variables from facility size and layout to RF sources and wireless services supported, and the Solution Selector, an online lead qualifier which helps partners determine which MobileAccess solution best fits a customer’s facility needs.
Building on MobileAccess’ classroom-based training programs – which offer multi-day training on system commissioning, installation, RF design and site surveys – the online adjunct to MobileAccess University provides VARs with a new way to supplement live training in order to save expenses and eliminate taking key personnel out of the field. Available in the second quarter of 2010, MobileAccess Online University leverages a proven learning management system (LMS) and test-through element to offer VARs the option of a physical or online venue for product training, refresher courses and re-certifications.
