Intel Predicts Channel Success

Thanks to the indirect channel’s ability to rapidly adapt to changing technologies, sales execs at Intel (INTC) believe the channel will play a key part in the company’s success in the coming year.

Intel believes the channel is showing interest in specialized areas, such as kiosks and other non-general PC business, hence the channel’s potential for growth. However, while netbook sales continue to grow, desktop sales are steady for the indirect channel. And even though virtualization continues to grow, Intel does not feel it is a threat to its business at this time.
