As part of the agreement, Liquid Networx will manage the Denver-based Intelisys Business Solutions team to serve both Liquid Networx customers and Intelisys channel partners seeking to expand their professional services offerings. The agreement calls for Liquid Networx to leverage Intelisys’ supplier portfolio as needed, allowing them to focus on creating and delivering professional services in new markets nationwide. Also as part of the agreement, Don Douglas, CEO of Liquid Networx, has been named to the Intelisys Corporate Advisory Board.
“Known for building and serving one of the best partner communities in the industry, we are very excited to announce our strategic alliance with Intelisys,” said Douglas. “We have a tremendous belief in the channel’s capacity to move up market with professional and managed solutions, and we are completely energized with the opportunity to enter new markets with Intelisys and their partners.”
“Intelisys is delighted to announce this strategic alliance of complementary business models to advance our sales partners’ capacity to differentiate themselves in the marketplace,” said Jay Bradley, president of Intelisys Telecom Services. “True solutions-selling is a mindset that Liquid Networx has excelled at for years, and we believe we could not have chosen a better partner to enable the Intelisys community to create lasting value with their customers.”
In addition to the introduction of new professional services offerings to include security, compliance and audit, Intelisys and Liquid Networx will use their combined strengths to deliver value-based services for network management in early 2010. From carrier services procurement to network design, telecom audit, project management and hardware/software requirements, the Intelisys/Liquid Networx alliance will deliver capabilities for channel partners to excel in the corporate IT marketplace, the companies said.
“Never before in the indirect channel have two companies assembled the strategic competencies needed to become a single source solutions provider for customers at this level,” said Rick Sheldon, co-founder of Intelisys. “The most successful channel partners clearly understand the urgency for mid-size and enterprise customers to reduce the number of IT venders they deal with, and this strategic alliance gives those partners a powerful weapon to grow their businesses faster than ever before.”
AT&T, CenturyLink and Connectwise are among those adding drama to telecom, IT and the channel since last fall. https://t.co/YTBVQGjWqt
