Every December, the “Best of the Year” lists come out, and 2009 is no exception. So what was the best smartphone of ’09?
If you’re in the market for a BlackBerry, one of these lists has been created just for Research In Motion’s baby. Digital Trends released its list of the top five BlackBerrys of the year.
The Bold 2, or 9700, gets the Web site’s nod as the best of the lot, applauding its “no frills no fluff” approach. Saying it’s “reigning supreme as one of BlackBerry’s best-ever smartphones,” the reviewer loves the Bold’s full 3G Internet, Bluetooth, display, super battery, GPS, Wi-Fi and 3.2-megapixel camera.
Second on the list is the Tour, which was called “ridiculously fabulous” in a story we posted earlier this year. Digital Trends calls the Tour one of BlackBerry’s best for a variety of users, including social networkers, message lovers or businesspeople. The site cites the Tour’s GPS, Bluetooth and world-roaming options as “perfect for traveling and everyday use.”
The Curve 8900 and the Pearl came in at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively, while the Curve 8520 rounded out the site’s top five due much in part to its lower price tag.
Security and UCaaS and SD-WAN, the triple-headed monster, dominated the news last week. https://t.co/Yoq7yrjhkf
