RPM Software has updated its back-office commission and channel management software for the agent community. The product, known as AGENT, has been upgraded with the second version of an API for integration with other systems.
“November of this year we’ll be debuting RPM 6.0 with a comprehensive API for communication with other software and services,” said product manager Jade Ohlhauser. “However, we’ve actually already released much of that functionality to select partners who have programmers ready to make use of it. Right now they are building systems such as automated quoting, form submission, and links to accounting software. I’m excited about this development because it opens RPM up to endless possibilities like real-time pricing, automated imports from billing servers, and online dashboard services. It can even connect different RPM subscriptions to transfer things we don’t already connect automatically, like process management.”
