MegaPath Execs Talk Up Managed Services in Recession

Two MegaPath Inc. (Booth 5014) executives Thursday will host the company’s session, “Selling Products that Resonate in a Down Economy” at the Fall 2009 Channel Partners Conference & Expo.

Dan Foster, chief sales and marketing officer, and Bernie McGroder, vice president of sales engineering, will examine how resellers can use converged, managed services to generate recurring revenue and increase customer renewals.

Foster and McGroder plan to talk about the importance of offering packages that include voice, data, MPLS and managed security. MegaPath said such platforms cut expenses for cost-conscious companies without compromising service. And businesses that adopt a managed services approach reduce their overhead and tend to remain loyal to their resellers.

MegaPath also will showcase its Duet with MPLS and Managed Security service at its booth during exhibit hall hours.
