Energent, which stands for “energy agent,” has a similar model to the indirect channel for telecom, offering multiple providers supporting the right solution for any application.
Since its inception, WTG has partnered with several providers to deliver electricity and natural gas to supply customers with energy solutions. For the 35 electricity-regulated states, WTG also has a national network of providers, who do equipment (mainly lighting) retrofitting, which includes rebate and economic stimulus consulting. That means agents dont have to wait to sell energy in regulated states. They can also sell natural gas in all markets immediately.
The company said the goal at WTG is to help agents get and retain all the business that comes their way by providing the right solution via a vast portfolio.
