Social networking site Twitter has been looking for ways to make money, and now it’s taken an official step toward doing just that.
The company has announced Twitter 101, a tutorial of sorts for businesses, showing them how to use the site effectively. It includes examples of companies that have used it successfully. Presumably, this would open the door to collect fees from businesses that might want to start or expand what they do on the site.
Twitter is expected to start offering a bundle of paid services later this year. Businesses would be able to analyze traffic to their Twitter pages, verify their accounts, etc., according to reports.
