Bloomberg reported today that Bridgescale Partners, run by a former Nortel employee, may spend up to $100 million, with other firms.
“They’ve got a lot of stuff that’s really, really good,” Managing Director Rob Chaplinksy told Bloomberg.
Bridgescale is based in Menlo Park, Calif., but soon will open an office in Toronto.
Bridgescale might want to decide right away about what it’s going to do – Nortel’s wireless unit goes up for auction this Friday.
