Storage vendor Brocade is unveiling a channel partner program in hopes of competing with Cisco Systems Inc.. The program will integrate the channel programs and the offerings of Brocade and Foundry Networks, which Brocade acquired last summer.
Brocade, a traditionally 100 percent indirect sales company, hopes to attract storage and IP networking VARs with its new two-tiered global Alliance Partner Network program. Partners will be provided with education and training and demo equipment benefits.
