SonicWall Channel Feels Economys Effects

Information security provider SonicWall (SNWL) has confirmed an unspecified number of channel operations staff members have been let go. Additionally, the company upped its subscription service pricing.

A company spokesperson said that the cuts might indeed affect channel support by shifting the support focus away from face-to-face visits and training sessions and more toward partner portal and telephone support. SonicWall executives do not anticipate further cuts.
