RIM supporters are going to toe-to-toe with the Palm Pre when it comes to rumors about new products. A supposedly leaked AT&T price sheet shows the yet-to-be-released BlackBerry 8900 will cost $200 after a $100 mail-in rebate. You must also sign up for a new, two-year contract.
The 8900 replaces the BlackBerry 8300 series. It features a GPS sensor, Wi-Fi and a display with higher resolution than the old model. It also supports AT&T Navigator and gives you access to XM Radio Mobile.
Neither RIM nor BlackBerry has confirmed a release date, but it’s widely speculated to be May 25.
