Level 3 is launching the first phase of this initiative in the Nashville, Seattle and Washington, D.C., areas, as well as upstate New York (Buffalo, Syracuse and Rome/Utica) and Colorado (Denver, northern Colorado and Colorado Springs).
“Given the economic storm, many companies have slowed or stopped expansion plans. However, we believe it is an ideal time to expand and capitalize on business opportunities,” said Jeff Tench, president of Level 3’s BMG. “Level 3 has a rich legacy of serving enterprise customers with a complete range of products and services – now we are taking our services to the next level to better serve our customers in each of these markets and provide a competitive alternative for mid-market businesses.”
This expansion is the first phase of a multiphase roll-out – the company plans to expand this initiative to additional markets in 2009.
