Leading IP communications provider Smoothstone and integrated telecom manager Cynergy announced today that they have entered into a strategic alliance to offer a wider range of hosted IP communications services to Cynergy clients.
The alliance was formed in order to bring Smoothstone’s unmatched industry experience in managed IP services to Cynergy’s well-established, comprehensive strategy for designing and managing telecom solutions specially suited for each of its clients. Smoothstone will leverage its expertise creating converged communications by eliminating the need for multiple vendors and providing Cynergy customers with on-demand support and network management.
“Smoothstone’s flexibility in mainstream hosting complements our work on the frontend for mid-range businesses,” said Jeff Cohen, co-founder of Cynergy Telecom Management. “Our experience, audiences and goals are aligned in a rapidly evolving industry, where it pays to be on the cutting-edge.”
Hull & Company Inc., a Managing General Agency, Wholesale insurance broker and Cynergy client, recently worked with the Smoothstone-Cynergy team on its own hosted communications project. “We chose Smoothstone for their expertise: to provide a truly managed VoIP solution,” mentioned Ryan Hensley, operations manager for Hull & Company Ft. Lauderdale. “From the original proposal through the actual implementation, Smoothstone truly delivered. I consider them a part of our IT team and they are now only a phone call away with all of the knowledge and expertise that we were lacking.”
Cynergy also plans to leverage Smoothstone’s experience with SIP trunking to deliver PBX-based VoIP solutions as part of a soft transition from existing legacy phone systems.
“As trusted providers of streamlined telecom management, Cynergy brings more than 40 years of industry knowledge and experience to the table,” remarked Smoothstone Chief Marketing Officer James Whitemore. “Our partnership will allow Smoothstone to leverage Cynergy’s extensive client base and industry expertise while offering our own experience in hosted communications and SIP trunking.”
