One Communications Announces Business Partner Program

One Communications has announced its revitalized Business Partner Program for channel partners. The newly enhanced program is driven by the leadership of recently added vice president and general manager of the business partner channel, Michael Fair.

“Over the past four months, we’ve completely redeveloped the One Communications channel partner program to deliver all the tools necessary to support the growth and success of our channel partners,” said Fair. “We’ve made significant investments in process improvements, training, communications, and pre- and post-sale support to provide our partners with an industry-leading program experience.”

In addition to new channel leadership, One Communications channel partner resources have been realigned into a separate organization accountable for providing responsive pre- and post-sale support to meet channel partner needs. Additional dedicated resources have been added to provide marketing, program and promotions support, as well as streamlined order management, issue repair and customer service.

Partner communications have been enhanced with a new partner welcome process, regular e-mail notices, monthly newsletters and a revamped partner portal. The revised portal offers a robust content management system, new look and feel, improved organizational structure, and real-time order status and trouble ticket tracking for partners.

A first-ever Partner Advisory Board also has been established and recently held its inaugural meeting in March in Fort Myers, Fla. Working closely with the One Communications business partner team, the advisory board will help direct and refine the strategies of the business partner program to ensure its alignment with partner needs on an ongoing basis.

In addition to program infrastructure improvements, One Communications has expanded its IP-based product portfolio and service availability to better support partner sales. Recent product enhancements include the addition of OneSolutions Complete, an integrated voice and data solution supporting multiple types of communication over a single connection, and OneSolutions MPLS IP VPN, a secure and flexible network-based WAN solution that supports multiple services and any-to-any networking for companies needing to connect multiple locations. Both products have achieved the Cisco Powered Program Designation and are available throughout the company’s regional service market, which includes 18 states from Maine to Wisconsin to West Virginia, plus the District of Columbia.

Top performing partners in the One Communications program will have the opportunity to earn attendance at the company’s annual partner recognition event, the Masters Club. The 2009 event will be a highly sought after industry first – a one-week safari in Kenya, Africa.
