Dell (DELL) has announced nationwide availability of its ProManage-Managed Services. Designed for SMBs, the Web-based service proactively monitors and manages IT networks, prevents system issues before they occur, and eliminates downtime. The expansion to more than 5,500 U.S. towns and cities follows two successful pilots in Dallas and New York City.
Starting as low as $9 per month with no upfront investment or long-term contract required, ProManage-Managed Services are available direct from Dell or through PartnerDirect Registered or Certified Partners enrolled in the ProManage Sales Agent program.
Service level options include round-the-clock alerts, 24/7/365 remote issue resolution services, or a management option that couples alerts and resolution services with end-user support, increased security functions and asset tracking and assessment services.
Additional services are available on a “pay-as-you-need” basis and include troubleshooting and repair, virus and spyware issues including OS, software support, data migration, data storage and backup, installation, network assessment and design, and security assessment and design.
