Canada-based Enghouse Systems Ltd., an enterprise software provider, said this week it has purchased Trio Enterprises AB’s business and shares.
Enghouse, which owns contact-center expert Syntellect Inc., paid $7 million for Trio. Trio develops telephony systems for business in Scandinavia; it reportedly raked in $15 million in sales last year.
Thanks to the Trio acquisition, Enghouse now hopes to expand to Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Trio and Syntellect sell through channel partners.
